Toyota has recently announced the prices of select variants of the Urban Cruiser Hyryder. The company has only revealed the prices of strong hybrid variants & the top-spec mild hybrid automatic model. The Toyota Hyryder strong hybrid version is available in 3 variants – S, G and V – priced between Rs 15.11 lakh and Rs 18.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The company has announced that the prices of the mild hybrid variants will be announced in a phased manner.

This variant comes equipped with crystal acrylic grille, black-brown interior, a 7-inch digital instrument console. It features a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay & Android Auto along with Hey Siri and Hello Google compatibility. It has 4 speakers, chrome inside door handles, black fabric for door armrest, trunk lamp, glove box light and front footwell light. This variant also has Toyota i-Connect connected car tech, 3 USB ports, cruise control, multi-functional steering wheel, reverse parking camera, etc.

This variant gets a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment unit instead of a 7-inch unit in the S variant. It offers 2 additional tweeters, Arkamys sound system and soft touch internal panels with premium stitch. The G variant has full LED headlamps, rear wiper & washer, auto folding wing mirrors, ambient interior lighting, panoramic sunroof, head-up display, wireless charging, side & curtain airbags, etc. It rides on 17-inch alloy wheels.

It has PVC material for the door armrest, while the switch bezel is finished in metallic black. Adding to it, the top-spec model gets artificial leather seats with perforations, and leather steering wheel. It also gets ventilated front seats, tyre pressure monitoring system, roof rails, Arkamys surround sound system, standard panoramic sunroof and 360-degree camera.

The new Toyota Hyryder hybrid version is powered by a 1.5L TNGA Atkinson Cycle engine that pushes out power worth 92bhp and 122Nm of torque. The electric motor produces 79bhp and 141Nm of torque. The maximum usable power and torque stands at 115bhp and 122Nm. It comes with Toyota’s e-drive system. The Hybrid is claimed to deliver a range of up to 25km while running on electric motor only.
